Course Duration: 1 year (final year) Solving problems from the past with technological inventions and innovative cleaner productiont is the core business of an Environmental Engineer. Every engineer knows however that Environmental Technology alone shall not bring us a sustainable future. In our one year Bachelor of Science course we have technology students work with environmental scientists, geologist, ecologist, planners and other disciplines to solve environmental quality problems. The basic notion of the environmental engineer is his/her understanding of the applicability of varied environmental technologies. Examples include technology from the Netherlands, several countries in Europe and international achievements. The environmental technology industry in the Netherlands comprises advanced and cost-effective technologies, such as small industry air purification, wastewater treatment, household waste strategies, soil remediation, and ground water purification. Our graduates find employment in several working areas that contribute to a Sustainable Future:
In the Bachelors programme of Environmental Technology we assess environmental quality on local, regional and national level and try to improve the environmental quality or even prevent future problems by using clean and green technology. Often you will join our other students in Sustainable Future courses for fieldtrips, research education, group work. General Admission Requirements
