Course Duration: 1 year The aim of the Master in Research, which is geared towards graduates and those who already work in the Fashion Pipeline, is to create Fashion and Textile Designers: explorers of fashion tendencies, creative professionals able to bring together theoretical notions, innovative insight and both organisational ability and capacity to liase with the world of production. A professional who must know how to create and support women's and men's collections as well as those of accessories and knitwear, combining an unmistakable individual creativity with solid industrial- technical knowledge. His or her main strength will be the ability to develop drawings and research into trends, while remaining true to the fashion concept, guaranteeing quality from the research stage to the finished product, with awareness of and competency in production costs as well. In order to carry out this role, the Fashion and Textile Designer must be able to work in a team, collaborating closely with the diverse sectors of the textile and clothes manufacturing industries. Thus the training pathway will cover all parts of the creative process: the vision, the research, the sketches, colours, textiles, cost evaluation, prototypes and the collections. Number of Student enrolments may not exceed 20 students A Toshiba laptop will be given to Master students without additional expenses. The laptop has every software that will be used during the course to develop the project. At the end of the Master the computer will be exclusive property of the student. Admission Requirements
